Renewable Energy Alaska Project (REAP) is a coalition of large and small Alaska utilities, businesses, conservation and consumer groups, Alaska Native organizations, and municipal, state and federal entities with an interest in developing Alaska’s vast renewable energy resources. REAP’s mission is to facilitate the increased development of renewable energy in Alaska through collaboration, education, training, and advocacy. From 2006 to 2014, REAP served as facilitator Alaska Wind Working Group, which included developers, funders, researchers, operators, turbine manufacturers, and others working in the wind industry in Alaska.
