As a Project Coordinator for WHPacific’s Alaska Operations Jackie Qatalina Schaeffer brings over 20 years of experience in communications and business management. As a lifelong Alaskan, born and raised in Kotzebue, Shaeffer offers exceptional rural Alaskan expertise and experience. Shaeffer has excellent client support and communication skills and offers client satisfaction, collaboration and solution-based approach. Her ability to communicate and assure client trust and involvement is invaluable. As Project Specialist for WHPacific, Jackie offers stakeholder facilitation and project support for a broad range of energy-related projects throughout the State of Alaska . Shaeffer is Lead Facilitator for the Holistic Approach to Northern Sustainable Communities project. Working with the Cold Climate Housing Research Center and local, regional, state and federal partners to help change the dynamics of how project development is structured in rural Alaska. Shaeffer helped coordinate efforts and co-author the Bering Straits Regional Energy Plan, North Slope Regional Energy Plan, Northwest Arctic Regional Energy Plan, Interior Regional Energy Plan, Y K Delta Regional Energy Plan and the Chugach Regional Energy Plan with the Alaska Energy Authority (AEA), local and regional leaders. Coordination efforts in the NANA Region include: Noatak Winter Fuel Haul Project, RurAL CAP Energywise project, DOE Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant projects, and Northwest Arctic Borough Energy Steering Commitee.
