Art Nash is an energy specialist as well as an assistant professor at University of Alaska Fairbanks in the School of Natural Resources and Extension. He researches energy efficient homes coupled with public policy. Before UAF, Nash was an Assistant Extension Professor at University of Minnesota providing similar outreach/education for rural communities. During his time in Minnesota, he provided insight to Minnesota’s Northwest Regional Clean Energy Resource Team as a board member. Nash has been interested in energy efficiency for more than 20 years, and has integrated this interest into his teaching. He received a masters degree from University of Alaska Fairbanks in Resource Economics.
